Freestyle Action Roundup of the Month – March

April 20th, 2022

Freestyle video parts are a way to keep up with all of the stellar athletes in our sport. Let’s take a look at the best clips to have come out in March! From sailing with friends, eavesdropping on a Cape Town training schedule, all the way to getting dizzy with some of the top athletes on the Freestyle Pro Tour – this month’s video roundup has it all.

Jumping right in: Primus Sorling (Starboard/Severne/MUF) sailing with friends on Fuerteventura. There is nothing better than sharing the stoke of a great session with your friends on the water. This time Primus sailed with Adrien Bosson (Fanatic/Duotone/MUF), current vice-world champion. And although Primus still has a few moves to train before matching Adrien’s status, the youngster who made his EFPT debut in Theologos last year, is sure improving quickly! We’ll be following his progress closely…

Another set of riders embodying the “share the stoke” attitude on the water are Chris Ackland and Evan Hawkey down in Victoria, Australia. Even though the pair are on the other side of the globe, we would love to see them in action at one of our events. Check out their action clip and decide whether you agree for yourself:

Someone who will be surely seeing at all our Freestyle Pro Tour stops this year is George Grisley. The Brit is improving session by session and has some of the best Air Funnels in the business. This winter he went to Cape Town to get as much time on the water as possible, resulting in an action clip flurried with powerful moves (and crashes ;)).

Word is he is still looking for a board sponsor, hopefully not for too long! Another rider who is in full-on training mode is 2021 Overall All-disciplines European Champion Yentel Caers (JP/NeilPryde). The Belgian has released a sick harness cam video that is sure to make you at least a little dizzy:

The last clip in this month’s roundup is another training clip, this time from Jacopo Testa (AV-Boards/Point-7). The Italian impressed in Theologos last year, and seemingly went directly to Corsica afterwards to get some reps in. For some quality action that will blow your mind, do not look any further:

That’s it for this month! Make sure to tune in again for the best clips of April. We hope you are saturated with action, and if you’re not, our first event of the year is about to start which will surely top off your freestyle meter! If you know of any sick freestyle clips that should be featured in the next edition, feel free to send them to us.
