It’s been a bit of dry spell in terms of quality freestyle windsurfing videos lately. Most riders were busy at numerous events around Europe, but luckily there are always camera’s there to capture the action. In our monthly Freestyle Action Roundup feature, we have put all the action together for you to enjoy. This time we will look at the German Freestyle Battles, some amazing Women’s action and tricks from around Tarifa. Let’s dig in!
Our friends over at the German Freestyle Battles have been busy and put together two Freestyle events within a week, one in Meldorf and one at the 2022 Surf Festival in Fehrman. With world-class action, it was Niclas Nebelung who took the win in the Men’s, and Lisa Kloster who dominated in the women. Enjoy the two recap videos below:
Another event that happened in that relatively short span of time was our very own European Freestyle Pro Tour stop in Vieste, Italy. We were blessed with some waves as well as wind, resulting in prime freestyle conditions. Jacopo Testa went into the event as the tour leader and had to fight ferociously to keep his main opponent Yentel Caers at bay. Testa took the win and extended his championship lead. Unfortunately the women were not run at the event in Vieste. Still, they have been training hard and releasing their efforts in the form of videos online. Oda Johanne Stokstad Brødholt went to Bonaire earlier in the year and put together this clip of her ripping up the spot:
Another Windsurf Girl that is on it is Lisa Kloster. Apart from winning both editions of the German Freestyle Battles, she also traveled down to Tarifa recently, enjoying some quality conditions.
Tarifa seems to have been firing lately. Another rider who hit the water around there was Eliran Levi. The Israeli freestyler took to the water with a bunch of other freestyle addicts resulting in an action-packed video.
